Bluestreak Network Inc. has named Martin Carrier VP of marketing and communications. Previously, as Ubisoft Canada’s VP of communications and corporate affairs, Carrier contributed to that company’s public profile, the development of its Canadian studios and the awareness of its products on the national and international stage. "[Carrier’s] work experience in North America and Europe, combined with his knowledge of fast-growing technology companies and his proven leadership, will be a huge plus as Bluestreak continues its rapid rate of growth," said Bluestreak CEO Paul Forostowsky in a news release. Bluestreak’s products power applications and user interfaces on mobile phones and set-top boxes. Carrier was one of several senior Ubisoft staffers who left the company at the same time as one-time president and COO Martin Tremblay last April.
