Brian Jennings has been appointed VP and CFO of Iceberg Media.com Inc, Toronto. Jennings is a CA from Ernst & Young Inc where he held the position of VP. He spe-cializes in complex corporate restructurings. Iceberg is in the process of launching an all-Canadian content site in partnership with Canoe called Jamcaster.com. It already operates an entertainment portal at www.icebergmedia.com including audio and video. Telus Corp, Burnaby BC, has tapped Darren Entwistle, former president of Cable & Wireless UK and Ireland, as its own new president. Entwistle was responsible for the massive merger of Cable & Wireless plc before taking over global operations. He also has an extensive background in Canada, having held several senior financial positions with Bell Canada International and Bell Canada. Salter Street Films has appointed Stephen Kelley to the team as VP responsible for sales and operations of the international division. He will be based in Toronto. Kelley has 15 years of experience in the television and distribution industry, most recently as head of international sales with Catalyst Distribution Inc. Prior to that he was international sales executive with the company, and from 1988 to 1992 was international sales executive with TVOntario. Herb Williamson has assumed the role of VP, sales and marketing, at SoftCare EC.Com, North Vancouver BC. Williamson has previously served at Atalla Corp and Viata Corp in senior capacities. He also led the national sales team at Datachecker Systems. Michael Gibbon, with IMAX since 1988 and currently EVP, has joined the board of directors of Communications and Information Technology Ontario. Also joining the board is Ian McWalter, president of Gennum Corp. The editorial team has been chosen to publish the electronic magazines set to be launched June 15 by Mykidsbenefits.com. Matthew Church, former editor-in-chief of enRoute Magazine, will be acting editor helped by managing editor Lynn Shannon, the former director, online services, at Carswell Thomson. Other editors include Keltie Thomas, former editor of Owl Magazine, Cynthia McMurray, former news editor of the Kingston Whig Standard and Leslie Lukas, former editor of IE: Money. Writers on board to date include Stephen Smith, former columnist for the Globe and Mail and former editor for Quill and Quire, Michael McGowan, and Lara Mills. Wayne Hatton has been appointed as president of Medbroadcast Corp's newly created division, Medbroadcast Connect. Hatton was most recently VP business development and marketing of Rogers Cablesystems' commercial and residential broadband services.
