Q1 preliminary numbers show subscriber growth continuing

First quarter figures released by three of the country’s wireless carriers – Rogers Wireless Inc, Microcell Telecommunications and Telus Mobility – show that subscriber growth is continuing, but churn remains an issue for some. Telus faired the best of the three with net additions topping the 100,000-mark, while Rogers and Microcell added 74,000 and 63,000 respectively.
