Bell and Telus oppose abridged time frame proposed by Barrett on deferral accounts

Bell Canada and Telus Corp. have taken Barrett Xplore Inc. (BXI) to task over its request that the CRTC impose a shorter time frame for comments and replies relating to its application to stay portions of its deferral account decision (Telecom Decision 2006-9). Barrett has asked the commission to implement an abridged time frame for dealing with its June 2 application that would see a 10-day comment period with four days to reply.
