Call centre technology firm wins Canadian patent

Virtual Hold Technology LLC from Akron OH says it has received a patent from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office in Quebec. The patent pertains to Virtual Hold's technology, which lets people calling contact centres hang up and receive return calls when an agent is free.
