Bell Aliant has been named as a finalist in the operational excellence category for the 2007 Billing World and OSS Today Excellence Awards. The company earned the recognition by integrating Exstream Software Inc.'s Dialogue enterprise document automation software with its four separate billing systems in Atlantic Canada, resulting in a clearer, more personalized billing system. "The overall goal of the bill redesign initiative was to provide a positive customer experience," said Claudine Langan, director of consumer marketing for Bell Aliant. Billing World and OSS Today magazine annual awards are given to companies in recognition of their success and influence in the telecom industry.
