Spotwave gets two new executives

Spotwave Wireless Inc. has filled two senior positions. David Whitten has been appointed VP of marketing. He has more than 30 years of IT experience and previously held senior management positions at a number of companies. Prior to working as the senior VP of corporate development and strategy for Intrado, Whitten served as Contellect's founder and CEO and Gartner's senior VP and general manager of research. The company's new VP of operations is Colin Parry. He joins Spotwave after working in senior positions at Alcatel and Curtiss-Wright Corp. Parry served as GM and VP of global operations with Curtiss-Wright. Prior to this, he held various positions at Alcatel, including VP of manufacturing operations, VP of Canadian logistics operations, and VP of North American logistics operations.
