Rogers debuts talking phone

Rogers Wireless has introduced the Nokia 6682RVI, a new handset capable of providing voice instructions to subscribers with vision problems. The device comes equipped with Nuance Talks software from Nuance Communications which transforms menus, instructions and content displayed on the screen to audio. According to Statistics Canada, there are 600,000 Canadians with significant vision loss.
