BlackBerries receive Pronto prod

Brief | May 9, 2007

Ottawa-based mobile software provider TrueContext Corp. is expanding its Pronto product line with Pronto for BlackBerry. The new system lets BlackBerry users access forms for customer-relationship management and sales support on the wireless device. Connected to BlackBerry Maps, the Pronto platform helps field workers navigate to client sites. Users' data can be stored in Pronto, or in certain CRM and ERP systems. TrueContext didn't specify which ones in its May 9 press release. The company said Pronto is already popular for automating credit card applications, sales order entries and field-services management.
