Mitel funnels attention to channels
Brief | May 9, 2007
In a bid to simplify its relationship with resellers, Ottawa-based telecom equipment maker Mitel Networks Corp. has unveiled a new channel-partner program. The consolidated, global strategy includes three designation levels: authorized, select and premier. Partners earn the designations by meeting revenue, sales and service targets. Higher-tier partners can access Mitel training resources, funds for marketing, equipment rebates, and the chance to become sector-specific specialists. Mitel said the program would be rolled out during the second half of 2007.
