Kaboose adds industry veterans

Family-focused online media company Kaboose Inc. has named Michelle Shinseki editor-in-chief of Kaboose.com. Shinseki most recently spent almost four years at Meredith Corp. where she was both editor of Parents.com and director of AmericanBaby.com. Prior to that she held various editorial positions, including editorial lead for iVillage.com's Lamaze.com and Time Inc.'s Parenting.com. In her new role Shinseki will be responsible for developing Kaboose's parenting content.
Kaboose also welcomes Will Ellison to the position of director of marketing, lead generation. Ellison joins Kaboose after an eight-year stint at Publisher's Clearing House where he was most recently director of interactive marketing. During that time Ellison led a team responsible for online marketing initiatives, including customer acquisition, retention and email marketing, site development and cross-channel integration. His experience should help Kaboose create new revenue growth opportunities through direct marketing initiatives to its user base.
