XM Canada gets new VP of marketing

Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc., operator of XM Canada, has appointed Janet Gillespie as VP of marketing. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales from a number a technology and communications firms, including the past eight years at Palm Canada Inc. Gillespie started her career at Palm as director of marketing where she led the marketing efforts for Palm handheld computers and smartphones, including the launch of the Treo smartphone product family. Her most recent position at Palm was wireless carrier business development and in that role, she was responsible for managing Treo sales to Canada's wireless operators.
