Sirius adds Mercedes-Benz to list of automotive partners

Mercedes-Benz Canada and SIRIUS Canada Inc. have announced that the luxury auto manufacturer will offer Sirius satellite radio exclusively as standard equipment on many of its vehicles in Canada, including all E-Class, Class, CL-Class, CLS-Class, SL-Class, ML-Class, R-Class and GL-Class vehicles along with the all new 2008 C350 and C350 4MATIC models. As well, all Sirius-equipped Mercedes-Benz vehicles will include a six month Sirius subscription. "With SIRIUS in their vehicle, Mercedes-Benz drivers will be able to experience Canada's leading satellite radio service for themselves," said Mark Redmond, President and CEO, SIRIUS Canada. "With unbeatable coverage throughout North America and the best content and programming, SIRIUS offers drivers and their passengers an unmatched listening experience." Sirius Canada already counts Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, Subaru, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi among its automotive partners.
