Alberta broadcast veteran appointed to NSERC

James Edwards has been appointed to the governing council of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council. Edwards is a veteran of the broadcast industry in Alberta where he launched the city’s first FM station and was president of the Western Association of Broadcasters. He served as president and CEO of Economic Development Edmonton from 1998 to 2002.
