Bell releases congestion data
Brief | June 26, 2008
Bell Canada has publicly released data on its network congestion problem. According to some of the figures, Bell has experienced between 2.9% and 5.2% congested links for the first five months of 2008. This range is consistent with the final 10 months of 2007 as well.
It’s unclear at this point whether these figures mean Bell’s network is congested or only parts of its network are congested. Network Letter will have more on this matter after comments from interested parties are submitted early next month.
