Distributors, CBC quarrel over efficacy of partial, ‘omnibus’ channel solutions

GATINEAU—Offering local programming on partial or “omnibus” satellite channels could serve as an interim solution to capacity shortages, Bell Canada and Shaw Communications Inc. told the CRTC Thursday.
