Independents say they can be shut out of vertically integrated system

As Canada’s broadcasting industry becomes more vertically integrated, independent broadcasting and production companies are unfairly trying to negotiate channel carriage with their competitors, independent television companies told the House of Commons heritage committee last Thursday.
