CBC contributes $3.7 billion to Canadian economy: Report

The CBC/Radio-Canada spends more on Canadian content, original news, journalism and the promotion of Canadian artists than a private broadcaster and adds $1.3 billion more to the Canadian economy than it would if it was privatized, a new study from Deloitte and Touche says.
