CRTC amends policy on ‘demarcation devices’

The CRTC amended a policy requiring incumbent telcos to install free, “jack-ended demarcation devices” outside the homes of customers with single-line inside wires after two BCE Inc. subsidiaries said the requirement would be too costly.
