CRTC’s role no longer ‘gatekeeper:’ Menzies

Technology has changed “old assumptions" about the CRTC's role as "a gatekeeper,” Peter Menzies, the CRTC’s vice-chairman of telecommunications, said in a speech at a Canadian Cable Systems Alliance conference on Monday.
