Domestic Internet exchanges no ‘panacea’ against foreign surveillance

More domestic Internet exchange points would help protect Canadian data from foreign surveillance agencies though it wouldn’t shield that data completely, said Byron Holland, president and CEO of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA).
