CRTC issues first non-telemarketing fine to telecom

A $15,000 fine imposed on VOIS Inc. Thursday marks the first time the CRTC has fined a telecom under the Telecommunications Act for not complying with a regulatory requirement “not related to telemarketing,” the commission said in a press release.
