OTTAWA — Canada should be cognizant of a potential multi-jurisdictional conflict on how data is handled as it renegotiates the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), University of Ottawa law professor Michael Geist told parliamentarians studying amendments to the regional trade agreement on Monday.
