Following the recommendation of Heritage Minister Steven Guilbeault, the governor-in-council has rejected a request for the cabinet to reexamine or send back the CRTC’s decision to renew the Canadian licenses of Sirius XM Canada Inc., which operates both Sirius Canada and XM Canada.
