PIAC requests privacy review of contact tracing apps

Six months after the CRTC declined its request to hold an inquiry into contact tracing technologies and negotiations around them between telecom companies and governments, the Public Interest Advocacy Centre has filed a fresh request for an inquiry to the regulator in the wake of the launch of both federal and Alberta-specific apps.
