Federal government spends $2.5m to battle disinformation

The Canadian government has allocated $2.5 million to help people identify misinformation and disinformation, it announced Wednesday. The government has the Digital Citizen Initiative (DCI) to build resilience against false data and to support a healthy digital information society.
