

Rogers boss won’t confirm Xplornet ‘rumours’

Rogers Communications Inc. CEO Tony Staffieri declined to comment on what he called “rumours” that the company – alongside Shaw Communication Inc. – have presented a plan to the federal government that would see Xplornet Communications Inc. take over Shaw’s Freedom Mobile wireless brand as part of regulatory approval of the Shaw acquisition.
