Quebec union 911 committee request CRTC suspend NG911 funding consultation

The 911 committee for the Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique au Québec (SCFP) is asking the CRTC to suspend its consultation on funding the next-generation 911 (NG911) system through the National Contribution Fund until the commission determines if it should reclassify small incumbent local exchange carriers (SILECs).
