Wholesale HSA service not needed in Far North; LEOs will do: Northwestel

There’s no need for BCE Inc.’s Northwestel to introduce wholesale high-speed access (HSA) services in Canada’s Far North because the imminent entry and competitive threat of multiple low earth orbit (LEO) satellite services, most notably Space Exploration Technologies Corp.’s  Starlink, is enough to transform the competitive landscape of broadband in the country’s most remote areas, the incumbent argued to the CRTC.
