Rogers-Shaw merger will create competition for Telus in the west: Rogers, Shaw lawyers

While on opposite sides of the Competition Tribunal hearing that will decide the fate of the $26 billion plan for Rogers Communications Inc. to buy Shaw Communications Inc., lawyers for both the Competition Bureau and Shaw agree that the hearing arrives as a “watershed” moment for the Canadian wireless industry.
