Civil society groups call for AIDA to be considered separately from C-27

A coalition of 30 individuals and civil society groups have released an open letter to the House of Commons committee on Industry asking that the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA) be stripped from bill C-27, the Digital Charter Act, legislation that seeks to handle information in a new digital world. The consortium does not trust the department of innovation, science and economic development (ISED) to administer the new rules wisely.
