New “use it or lose it” policy helps Indigenous spectrum connectivity

Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry François-Philippe Champagne introduced a new spectrum licensing framework that will concentrate on rural and remote regions of the country. The new policy will see unused spectrum either deployed by licensees or handed back to be rolled out by new users.
