INDU wants to force Big 3 CEOs to appear before committee

With the heads of Canada’s big three telecoms threatening to boycott a House of Commons session, the House of Commons industry committee is prepared to force them to testify. Monday the panel held a hearing on accessibility and affordability of wireless and broadband. The CEOs of BCE Inc., Rogers Communications Inc. and Telus Corp. were asked to appear next Wednesday. The companies are scheduled to send underlings instead. Quebecor Inc. boss Pierre Karl Péladeau has already appeared before the MPs.
