CRTC kicks off consults on accessible programming for deaf, blind

The CRTC on Tuesday announced it is initiating two consultations on making broadcast programming accessible for people with disabilities. One is on closed captioning for people who are deaf or hard of hearing; the other is for described video and audio to benefit those who are blind or partially sighted.
