European wireless outage had little effect on Canadian travellers, telcos say

A wireless outage across Europe seems to have had minimal impact on Canadian tourists, according to wireless providers in this country. The outage lasted for 24 hours last Wednesday and saw people unable to make calls, send text messages or use online services without WiFi. It extended from Britain to Turkey.
