Competition Bureau appoints professor as advisor on digital economy

The Competition Bureau has brought on an expert in economics for a short-term position as part of its efforts to boost competition in digital and platform markets, while it continues investigations such as those into Alphabet Inc.’s Google and Amazon.com Inc.
