SaskTel rolls out 5G service to more than 50 rural and remote areas

SaskTel to boost Internet speeds in indigenous communities

Saskatchewan Telecommunications Holding Corp. announced Thursday that it is deploying 5G service to more than 50 communities and highway corridors. This expands its 5G reach and will “revolutionize” connectivity across the prairie province, it said, especially in rural and remote areas. Several Indigenous communities are among the beneficiaries of the rollout.
