CRTC licenses Uvagut for mandatory carriage, Inuit TV as discretionary

The CRTC has granted an application by Nunavut Independent Television Network (NITV) for mandatory carriage of its signals while denying a similar request from Inuit TV Network (ITN). The move comes one day after the commission released its strategic vision, which includes bolstering Indigenous content.
