CRTC delays migration to next generation 911

The CRTC announced late Friday, Feb. 28 that it is delaying the timeline for transitioning to next generation 911 (NG911). The new regime was scheduled to take effect on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Instead it will be delayed until March 31, 2027.
