One-day workshop on e-commerce and online advertising co-hosted by The Competition Bureau and University of Ottawa’s Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC).

The workshop will "foster discussion on a myriad of digital and e-commerce issues, including: emerging business models; competition and innovation; potential regulatory issues and concerns; and international regulatory frameworks and challenges," and will include "experts from Canada, the United States, England and Australia involved in a variety of different fields, such as marketing, advertising, academia and law enforcement."

Canadian International Television Festival

A new festival designed to showcase Canada’s television programming to Canadians and international audiences.

The CITF will be the first “television showcase festival in Canada” and will help audiences “discover and enjoy new and returning English and French-language Canadian programs,” by running full episodes, retrospectives, previews, “and other short-form content.”
