Watchdog group the Friends of Canadian Broadcasting is inviting Vancouver residents to a town hall meeting to weigh in on the future of CBC/Radio-Canada. The meeting will take place at the Visitor Centre of the Van Dusen Gardens and will be moderated by Arthur Black, a Saltspring Island writer, broadcaster and former host of CBC Radio's Basic Black. The Vancouver town hall meeting is part of a series and will be followed by a meeting in Victoria on Aug. 14, 2012. Visit the website for more details.
